Meet Hsing-Hsing

Hsing-Hsing Li is the Chief Operating Officer for ACELER8.AI, and a tech and ops leader who has been building and thinking about algorithms since the early 2000s—well before most of us were even talking about AI. She has been experimenting with tools like Stable Diffusion—an open-source AI model that generates images from text prompts—since 2021 to explore visual storytelling and spark new ideas.

How “She Runs on AI”

These days, Hsing-Hsing leans on generative AI to supercharge her research process. Her favorite tool? Perplexity—an AI-powered search engine that pulls in high-quality, real-time sources and summarizes complex topics quickly.

“It’s like having a super research assistant,” she says. “I use it to get broad context, scan relevant web resources, and summarize journal articles—especially when I’m dealing with large volumes of information.”

As an educator, she also emphasizes the importance of source quality and citation. “Good research hygiene matters—especially when you're teaching others how to think critically.”
