Building a life & career powered by AI

December 2025

Meet

Miriam Daucher is the Leader for Work, Skills, and HR Transformation for Asia at Mercer, working at the intersection of people, tech, and the future of work.

A psychologist by training and a consultant by practice, she helps organizations redesign work, build skills-powered ecosystems, and prepare for an AI-enabled future.

She lives a global life: originally from Germany, now based in Singapore, spending too much time on planes, studying for her NUS–UCLA Executive MBA, and squeezing in weekend adventures—surfing, skiing, and the occasional spontaneous detour across Asia.

How “She Runs on AI”

Miriam runs her work, studies, and personal life on an integrated AI stack.

“AI is my co-pilot, my sounding board, my strategist, my executive assistant, and—honestly—my reflection partner at times.”

She loves speaking into it—English or German, no typing needed.

Work

  • Designing HR transformation and skills-powered models

  • Preparing keynotes, workshops, and thought leadership

  • Quick research synthesis, storyline building, and visuals

  • Otter.ai for meetings, Enterprise LLM for sensitive work

  • Creative touches like AI farewell videos

Studies (NUS–UCLA EMBA)

  • Digesting massive readings via NotebookLM

  • Running financial models and strategy maps

  • Group presentations in minutes using Gamma

  • Mermaid diagrams for logic and process flows

  • AI as her secret weapon across LA, Tokyo, and Shanghai

Personal Life

  • Weekly reflections, energy/sleep tracking dashboards

  • Life admin, travel planning, party polls, Instagram captions

  • Brain-dumping wild ideas at 1 a.m.

  • AI as her creative buddy for jokes, rituals, stories

“It’s not a gimmick—it’s a functioning operating model.”

Her #1 AI Hack

“Voice everything.”

She rarely types—just talks to AI. Voice notes, stream-of-consciousness, German-English mix. AI structures, enriches, and turns it into something useful.

“It makes AI feel like an actual thinking partner—not a tool.”

Bonus hack: Orchestrate multiple models. ChatGPT for fast thinking, Claude for nuance, Gemini for structure/visuals, Otter for meetings, NotebookLM for study survival. The magic isn’t choosing one—it’s combining them.

How AI Changed Her Routine:

Morning

  • Energy check, sleep summary

  • Daily plan

  • Drafting emails on the MRT

Work

  • Instantly turning discussions into insights

  • Research to transformation narratives

  • Visuals on the fly

  • Scenario modeling in meetings

  • Nothing gets lost—AI keeps track

Evenings / Study Mode

  • Academic papers → audio stories

  • Auto-generated memory quizzes

  • Concept and strategy maps

Personal

  • Journaling, travel planning, captions

  • Year-end reflections + “Miriam’s AI Wrapped” 👉 Check it out

“AI blurred the lines between roles—and made all of them lighter, sharper, and more fun.”

Her Advice to Women Exploring AI

“You don’t need to use it ‘the right way.’ Use it like a friend who doesn’t judge your 2am brain dumps.”

“Don’t wait until you feel ready. The women shaping AI are the ones actually using it.”

Start small. Start playful. Start honest.

  • Try voice

  • Let it clean your messy thoughts

  • Make work easier

  • Create something silly—or serious

  • Explore different models—they all have personalities

Before the Year Ends...

Try this experiment: Create your own Wrapped with your AI of choice.

“You’ll be surprised how much you’ve built, survived, and created—and how AI has quietly supported your whole ecosystem.”

For Miriam, it’s ChatGPT for creativity, Claude/Gemini for depth, NotebookLM for study, Enterprise LLM for sensitive work, Gamma + Mermaid for visuals.

“It’s not about the tool. It’s about what it unlocks for you.”
