Leveling-up & accelerating her impact

Meet Theresa Reno-Weber

According to AI, "Theresa Reno-Weber is a powerhouse leader at the intersection of technology, social impact, and family life. As the CEO of GoodMaps , a cutting-edge startup with patented AI, machine learning, and augmented reality technology, she’s redefining how people navigate and experience indoor spaces—especially those with disabilities"

She also serves as the Board Chair of the The Drucker Institute at Claremont Graduate University, helping steward the legacy of one of the world’s most influential thinkers on management and leadership into the modern era.

Outside of boardrooms and startup life, Theresa is a mom to two teenagers and a pre-teen, a Girl Scout Troop leader, and a deeply engaged community builder. Whether she’s raising capital, mentoring young leaders, or planning a service project, Theresa uses AI to accelerate her impact—streamlining workflows, unlocking creativity, and reclaiming time for what matters most.”

How “She Runs on AI”

Theresa swears by ChatGPT as a go-to AI tool.

"We have a subscription as a company, so I keep the prompts and answers private and unavailable for training the public LLM. Whether I’m drafting investor updates, developing go-to-market strategy, or translating complex tech into simple and compelling narratives, ChatGPT helps me think more broadly, write with more clarity, and lead more effectively"

Her #1 AI Hack

Use AI as a thought partner, not just a tool. When I'm stuck, I’ll prompt it like I’m having a conversation with a smart colleague or friend—asking for perspectives, trade-offs, or creative reframes. Ask for counter-narratives, potential land minds, and what it thinks you should be asking to get a better outcome. I also love asking for it to review a draft email or communication and tell me what it believes the “tone” and “impact” of the message will be for a particular audience.

How AI Changed Her Routine

"I’m a perfectionist, so I can spend hours polishing documents, building ppts from scratch, or researching across multiple sources.

With AI, I am reclaiming that time for higher-value work and spend less energy drafting and more time deciding, aligning, and connecting with my team, customers, and investors"

Her Advice to Women Exploring AI

"Don’t wait to be an expert—just start experimenting. The sooner you begin using AI in your day-to-day, the faster you'll build confidence and discover where it truly amplifies your strengths. AI isn’t about replacing your instincts—it’s about freeing you to focus on what matters most"
