Running Projects - and Marathons!
September 2025
Meet Caitlin
Caitlin DeMasellis, as a certified Program Management Professional (PgMP) with a master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Caitlin has built a career at the intersection of strategy, data, and innovation. Whether structuring complex program roadmaps or coordinating cross-functional teams, she brings precision and purpose to her work.
Outside the office, Caitlin is an endurance athlete and marathon finisher who regularly covers more than 20 miles on foot each day - proof that her work ethic stretches far beyond the boardroom.
She’s also a devoted mom of two, applying the same drive to parenting as she does to leading large‑scale projects.
How “She Runs on AI”
Caitlin integrates AI into nearly every aspect of her life.
At work, she uses it to build roadmaps, drive adoption, and strengthen governance as her team’s AI Evangelist.
At home, AI helps her plan trips, organize screen-free activities, and simplify day-to-day logistics.
When training for a marathon, she literally ran on AI - leveraging ChatGPT to develop a training plan, suggest running apps to track her progress, and generate custom JSON interval files tailored to her chosen running app - turning what could have been hours of manual planning into a streamlined, personalized training schedule.
Her #1 AI Hack
Caitlin treats AI like a teammate. It helps her distill complex ideas into stakeholder-ready deliverables and keeps her personal life organized and intentional. By automating execution, she frees up time and energy to focus on what matters most.
How AI Changed Her Routine
AI has transformed how Caitlin approaches everything: from managing multi-initiative timelines to cutting through the chaos of family logistics. What once took hours now takes minutes. The result: a routine that’s more efficient, more aligned, and more empowering.
Her Advice to Women Exploring AI
“Endurance isn’t just for marathons - it’s essential for navigating change. AI is moving fast, and the people who thrive will be the ones who keep learning and experimenting without being afraid to adjust their approach.
Don’t think of AI as a finish line to reach - it’s an ongoing training plan that keeps you sharper, faster, and more resilient in the long run.”
